The Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Service and McLennan County Community College Continuing Education will host an educational series for small acreage landowners from Aug. 26-Oct. 7 in Waco.
The five-session course will be held every Monday from 6-8 p.m. through Oct. 7 at the AgriLife Extension office in McLennan County, 4224 Cobbs Drive.
Cost is $49 for all five sessions and preregistration is required. Participants can register by visiting https://tx.ag/McLennanSmallLandowner. An online option will be available with connection information being emailed to participants once they have registered.
Sessions are geared toward those who are interested in owning land and current landowners who want to run an agribusiness operation on their land. Participants will learn the basics of landownership, new business opportunities and best management practices.
